When it comes to an extremely wonderful crewed charter yacht vacation, Mediterranean cruises such as bodrum gokova yacht cruises are an amazing opportunity. Working out of the charming town of Bodrum Turkey, people can experience a Mediterranean cruise that heads down the Gulf of Gokova. All along the northern coast are amazing things to do and see that includes the gorgeous scenery.

Aboard your luxury yacht charter you will have spectacular views of the clear blue skies and tempting azure waters.  It is recommended to hire a crewed yacht charter as you will have a captain and crew that are familiar with the local waters.  You will also enjoy international cuisine prepared by your own personal chef.  Just imagine, relaxing on the Mediterranean, sitting on the deck with gorgeous views in every direction and having your dinner served to you on the outdoor dining table.  Some of the most elegantly appointed and well built yachts in the world are harbored on the coasts of the Mediterranean Sea.

Many of these yachts come complete with all the gear you may need for various water activities.  You could anchor off some of the islands and secluded bays and do catamaran trips, parasailing, water skiing, sailing, and scuba diving.  The waters of the Mediterranean are warm and inviting.  If you like to find underwater treasure this is the place to explore.

Kemer Kekova Yacht Cruises

Then, you might also think about Kemer Kekova Yacht Cruises, another turkey cruise line that is deemed top of the line. A great consideration is taking a cruise around Croatia, a magnificent, French island and the fourth largest in the Mediterranean. For an exceptional yacht holiday, you will fall in love with the area’s rugged mountains, charming fishing villages, and virgin land that is gorgeous.

With Kemer Keova Yacht Cruises, you have more than 600 miles of coastline just waiting to be discovered. Although there are weeklong cruises, we strongly recommend you take a full two weeks to take everything in. Of course, if you find you only have a week for this type of adventure, then spending time around Sardinia or Corsica would be perfect.

Before booking your trip it is always wise to read personal testimonies online from travelers that may have used one of the Marmaris yacht charters.  These online sites will more than likely have resumes of the crew you will hire as well.  You may want to do some research on the area and let your captain know what activities you may want to do or sites you may want to see.  At that time you can let the captain know if you have any special food needs or limitations.  This will make your trip at sea more enjoyable, comfortable and memorable.

I have come to the conclusion that going on one of those great luxury cruise ships is actually worth all the money as well as being a lot better than taking a plane there. What is it that makes it a lot better than flying?

No  hassle arriving fifty hours before so your bags can be checked, that is done quickly which is great you wont need to get up that early to get there as its all a lot quicker. The great thing about going on a cruise ship is that there is no waiting around waiting either in the airport or on the plane to get to your destination as soon as you step onto the ship you are essentially at your hotel.

There are also casinos, free room service, and bars to go to as soon as you step foot onto the ship. Free drinks are only available on long haul flights and that is only if you are flying with one of the better airlines on a long haul flight.

The best thing about it is you actually get to have legroom which is great compared to a plane! There is no worry about legroom on a ship as you are never restricted to space, even the cheapest of rooms are spacious.

Of course if something does happen all you have to do is get into a lifeboat rather than jump down a huge inflatable slide or worse die on impact. Theres no threat of terrorism whatsoever so you can sail with one less worry! All you really need to worry about are pirates and that is only if you are near the pirate zones.

Of course there is the possibility of storms but hey when that happens just head downstairs and relax with a game of pool or a nice drink, or even both!

I have to admit I love flying and I would never say cruise every year instead of flying to your favourite destination but going on a luxury cruise is nice every so often and with Regent Cruises (the one I went with) you are sure to have a better time than on an aeroplane.

There are a couple of computer games that I have played recently that have led me to seriously think about going on one of those brilliant luxury cruises I have heard so much about.

First of all is the obvious one- Cruise Ship Tycoon
It is this game that actually made me think about looking into going on one of these holidays. The major purpose of this game is to show you how to run a cruise ship. This game lets you go to anyplace on the ship from the casino right the way to the captains quarters. This is great as the in game ships are all based on real ships which make is perfect for me as I can see exactly what there is to do on a ship without even having to do much research. You also get to see how hard it is to keep the ship running which although unnecessary for people on the actual holiday I thought it was very interesting to see myself.

Splinter cell Double Agent
This one is a bit random as the whole point of the mission is to plant a bomb in the ship but not to worry it is for the purpose of killing terrorists. When I was playing this game it is safe to say the graphics are so good I didn't even need to go and look at a website to see what a luxury ship looked like which is one of the reason this game is on the list. You dont just get to see the interior of one room in this level, as you progress through the mission you get to go through the casino, swimming pool and many bars which is great as this was again based on a real ship.

Mario Kart double dash is the weird one on the list
This is rather crazy I know but there is a level in the game that you get to drive around on a luxury cruise ship and no it doesn't matter that it is Princess Daisy's ship and not a real thing it still shows how big one of these ships are? Well yea if there aren’t any people onboard and there certainly wasn’t in this game.

So there you have it and it gets even better as I am actually going to book a holiday with Regent Cruises today so all I can say is thank you gaming!

After recently going on one of those fancy 5 star cruises myself I have come to the conclusion that going on one is simply one of the best things you could possibly do with your money. Why? The main reason behind this is that a cruise like this one not only provides everything you would expect to find on a normal holiday but adds to that on a stupidly large scale which is brilliant.

It’s simple really, where else would you find luxury suites with butler services, spas and fitness centres, a monster swimming pool and a casino all in one place. When I got aboard the ship I was on I really could not believe how many different things I could do to pass the time in between the stops. I myself went to one of the educational talks on the destination that we were heading to next and it is fascinating to hear all about it before you actually get there so at least you feel slightly knowledgeable rather than turning up completely oblivious to the culture.

As well as all of these brilliant things you can go to dinner time shows as well as all you can eat buffets which for me, being used to things like this on my trips to America is fantastic.
There are no limits on where you can go on a luxury cruise as over the past 10-20 years destinations have grown immensely ranging from Europe to the Antarctic which is absolutely brilliant for people who either just want to look at these continents or actually go ashore and explore the small towns or the big cities that these cruise ships go to.

So save up those wages and go on a luxury cruise holiday like me and if you want advice on which one is the best to go on as there are literally hundreds all I can say is that Regent Cruises was simply fantastic an I would recommend to anyone thinking of going on a holiday like this.

Taking an Inside Passage cruise in Alaska is a truly unforgettable experience. You may have spoken to buddies or family who have already gone on Alaska cruises, and the likelihood is that they simply went on and on about their cruising experience. So just what is it that makes a cruise in Alaska such a special experience? For one thing, the views you'll see in Alaska are mind-blowing.

The glaciers are astonishing, huge flows of ice that ceaselessly break off into enormous chunks, which plunge into the waters below. Next you have the really amazing ranges of mountains, some rising as high as 20 thousand feet or more, not more than miles from shore, providing an astounding backdrop.

Of course, what brings many folks on Alaskan cruises is the simply extraordinary and abounding wildlife.  From grizzly bears and black bears to Kodiaks and Polar bears, Alaska has a wonderful variety of wildlife.

Now, the chances are you will not be seeing a polar bear on your Alaskan cruise (unless you add on a visit to the Arctic Circle), but there is a great chance you'll see bald eagles and grizzlies, particularly if you are taking one of literally many available shore excursions.

But the best part of all about a cruise in Alaska is the superb range of shore trips available, both during stops and before or after your cruise. You can do a huge variety of things, from rafting along glacial-fed streams and rivers to dog sledding on the very top of the huge glaciers themselves.

If you are seeking a more sedate shore trip, you can taking really beautiful rides on a railway into the Gold Rush country of the Yukon and day journeys into a preserve for bald eagles. Your alternatives for this are really nearly unending, and they go from high-end to actually incredibly low cost. So there are actually masses of reasons a voyage to Alaska is the holiday you'll simply never forget. No matter what cruise you select, you are certain to have an incredibly memorable time.

In Britain archery as a sport is gaining fast popularity. In the past, archery was famous for hunting purposes. Since the use of bow and arrows in hunting became banned in the UK, archery eventually became a sport and a fun past time. Getting the right archery hunting equipment is essential if you wish to fully enjoy this game. In archery, the arrows you use play a major role, which is why you need to choose durable and superior arrows. Aluminum arrows are better than wood or fiberglass varieties. Once you have chosen your arrows, you will also need to choose the right bows for archery.

There are limitless possibilities for a sailing vacation. Luxury boat charter trips range from small sailboats to enormous powerboats to suit every price range and individual need. Rather than be a slave to cruise ship itineraries, a crewed yacht charter works to serve you, the client, taking you to any island, port of call or body of water your heart desires. You can sleep and eat on your boat or stop on land to explore. Not all yacht charters cost a fortune, either. Whether you are going to the Mediterranean, the Indian Ocean or the Caribbean, choosing sailing yachts will make your time more unique. However, there are a few points to consider before you set sail.

Do you want to be a skipper? This is one of the first decisions to make when considering a boat charter. If the answer is "yes," then be prepared to hand over your boating resume to the charter company, which includes several years of experience sailing the size and type of boat you intend to charter. At www.ebare.com, you can take an assessment to see if you are ready for smooth sailing and to see what your options are if you are not quite prepared.

You may need to take a few boating and safety courses before being allowed to hold supreme power aboard your private yacht. On the day of your charter, some companies may take you out on a demo cruise, where you will demonstrate your knowledge. If you flunk the demo, then the company will place a captain aboard your vessel. If, on the other hand, you pass your demo, then congratulations! You will be commanding your first bareboat charter.

  • A wedding on a yacht could offer panoramic views.
  • The cost of boat charters is entirely up to you.
  • Smaller boats, sailboats and off-season trips all offer deep discounts.

If you are not sure about sailing the high seas on your own just yet, then a flotilla is one of the better intermediate boat charters you can take. In a flotilla, a fleet of 8-10 private yacht charters band together on an unforgettable adventure. A captain, chef, engineer and activities planner will sail on the lead yacht, offering assistance to anyone in the fleet who needs it.

You will essentially sail your own ship for the most part. Each morning you will be briefed on optional activities and group meals for the day, as well as where to meet for nighttime docking. Many travelers say this is the ultimate party, offering some of the best off-the-beaten-path experiences, with none of the anxiety of going it alone. Greece and the British Virgin Islands are popular places to link up with a flotilla.

The cost of boat charters is entirely up to you. Many beginners choose to hop aboard sailing yachts with a handful of other couples to offset the cost. Affordable trips can also be taken in a flotilla fleet, which offers a good middle-ground for relatively inexperienced sailors who still crave the privacy of their own boat.

Smaller boats, sailboats and off-season trips all offer deep discounts. Choosing an all-inclusive sailing vacation is a good way to prevent overspending on port stops, food or other unanticipated expenses. As you travel more and more, you will soon be ready to command your own boat, sail on luxury yacht charters or throw an extravagant party aboard a crewed yacht charter!

One of the joys of fishing comes when you can do it with your kids or grand kids. Kids have shorter attention spans than adults which can make it difficult to determine when they are old enough to start fishing. You need to have some of the basic safety tools available with you at all times. Your kids tackle box should be small and lightweight so they can easily handle it. You will find that they take pride in knowing it is their own tackle box and you can let them have the input in it.

Innovation, variety and nostalgia make this hobby rewarding. During the golden age of fishing tackle, the late 20th century, small lure manufacturers dominated the industry. Without having to please mass-market discount stores, the small lure maker could truly innovate. Most antique lures are large - huge, in fact by today's standards.

The truth is that there are some bass fishing lures that are better than others. Many times with a fly fishing rod a fish will move along breaks in the surface temperature, where warmer and colder water meets. The action that the buck tail provides underwater is unmatched by any synthetic material. Working one of these jigs through heavy cover is an extremely effective way to fool bass. These baits imitate a wounded bait fish in an extremely effective way. This bait looks as much like a live shad as I think an artificial bait can. The KickTail minnow is an extremely effective bass bait, and should be a part of every bass fisherman's repertoire.

I have no sense of fashion, and rarely can match my clothing. In winter months, cold weather is a constant. Winter fishing can be fantastic, unless you choose the wrong clothing. One key item is fleece fingerless gloves. The fleece gloves retain heat even when wet and dry easily. Summer clothing has advanced a lot over the past few years.

best bait for crappie

Old School Crappie Fishing Family Secrets

If you are a crappie fisherman you probably are always looking for that edge on how to catch crappie. I could give you some elaborate spiel like, “ If you use these guidelines you are guaranteed to catch crappie” but lets face it anyone who is an avid fisherman looks at statements like that as a “lot of bull” What I would like to do though is share some common guidelines I use to develop your own list of tips to catch crappie. You see on any given day you can get skunked, even the pros do once in awhile. The trick is to refine your skills to understand what crappie live bait or tackle for crappie fishing to use in different seasons and different fishing situations. To this you need to develop your own personal list of crappie fishing guidelines.

Guideline #1 Always use your local bait shop and state or federal department of natural resources to get local fishing information. Here are some good questions to ask; “What crappie minnow rigs people are using” , “ What type of crappie live bait anglers are using”, “What types of crappie fishing jigs and what sizes are fisherman using”, “What is the average size of the crappies fisherman are catching” “Where are the best spots to catch crappie”. The folks at the bait stores talk to fisherman everyday and the department of natural sources do annual netting of crappie to determine the average. size and numbers of these fish, they are a valuable resource when developing your list. You want to be as thorough as you can be with these folks because based on the information you obtain from these folks you are going to make your best crappie bait selection. For example if after interviewing your local bait shop and the department of natural resources you find out the average catch size anglers are catching is around 1/2lb to 1lb. Live bait fisherman are having the best luck using fathead minnows, and fisherman using jigs are catching crappie on small 1/64oz to 1/32oz jigs painted florescent green. The fish are being caught in the shallow areas around sunken trees. Ok al you need to do now is make you crappie rigging to march your information. Those 10 or 15-minute interviews can make the difference of catching fish or coming home empty handed. After you have set up your crappie crappies fishing rigging and caught a few fish, clean a few and see what is inside their stomachs this is a excellent way to find out exactly what crappie are eating on any given day!

Guideline #2 Spring is the most active time of year for the crappie species. Get your crappie minnow rigs and your arsenal of jigs for crappie ready because the crappie fish will be active! Crappie will start spawning when the water temperature reaches about 56degrees Fahrenheit. The crappies will be eating large adult crappie minnows right before the spawn because their natural forage fish do not spawn until later in the spring and summer when the water temperature rises to above 70degrees Fahrenheit. So if your wondering what crappie baits to choose keep in mind that the early spring crappie and the fish on the spawning nests will be eating larger forage fish. You can verify this information but cutting open the stomachs of a few fish and example the contents. Another important tip to catch crappie is the fact that nesting crappie hate any fish invading their nesting areas. You can use this to your advantage because these fish will “strike out at any thing that invades there nesting area.

Guideline #3 In the summer months you will be able to use crappie fishing rigs ranging in size from 1/64oz to 1/4oz depending on the size of fish you plan to target. The majority of the crappie fish’s diet will consist of adult & and recently hatched forage fish fry. You can adjust your crappie minnow rigs based on the size of fish you plan to target. The smaller fish will be feeding on the fry so choose a crappie bait to match the size of the fry. A choice of about 1/64oz would be good here. If you are going after slabs then adjust your crappie rigging accordingly. A bait for crappie selection of 1/8oz to 1/4oz would be a great choice here. As in the other guidelines you can verify your sizes by checking the content of the stomachs of the fish you catch.

Guideline #4 There are special situations where you need to do some additional preparation to learn how to catch crappie. One of the most common special situations you will come across depending on where you are fishing is water clarity. This will be the only special situation we will touch on today. When you are fishing muddy or stained water waters the crappie will have a hard time seeing your crappie baits, and rigging for crappies so you need to hone in on their keen senses here. On your crappie live bait rigs you will need to add some flashy spinner blades and some rattles. The crappie can hear the rattles and see the blade flash as they approach your crappie bait enticing them to strike. In clear water you will need a very small diameter fishing line like fire line, that is near invisible in the water. Your crappie rigging will need to be the smallest you can find that will still get your crappie baits to where the fish are. The crappie’s sight is outstanding in clear water so you need to imitate the forage fish bait well.
